Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers bring the spirit of service to our work in Nicaragua. Oftentimes, we hear comments about the reciprocal benefit of assisting with a school construction project, while we are helped to see life through a new lens. It really is a life changing experience where you intend to go to help others, but receive life lessons, new learning and form life long, meaningful bonds with our friends in Nicaragua and the volunteer team. This gift is truly priceless.

 

Volunteers who travel to Nicaragua are required to raise at least $300 as their contribution to the construction effort.  All volunteers who assist with construction pay for their own travel expenses.  Fundraising occurs only to help assist with construction costs, not personal expenses.

​Please complete this form to express your interest in volunteering for the 2025 Linking Hands for Learning school construction project in Las Lagunetas Nicaragua.  By completing this form, you are solely expressing interest in joining us, which enables us to better communicate with you and plan a draft itinerary.  We will hold an informational meeting on September 29 and ask for you to formally commit to a trip shortly thereafter
